Celebrate the Stars and Stripes

The 4th of July has got to be one of the best holidays! The weather is nice, friends are gathered around all day, the barbeque is cooking up hamburgers and hot dogs nonstop, fireworks in the front yard as soon as the sun goes down. Seriously...is there anything better?

If you're planning a 4th of July party this year...or if you are going to a party, we have found some great ideas that will help you celebrate the good ol' red white and blue in style.

We have said it before and we will say it again. A great party is in the details. So this 4th of July, be sure to pull out all the stops when it comes to the decor. Pennant banners, streamers, firecracker party favors...you name it. Nothing is too over the top when it comes to a 4th of July party.

Why shouldn’t everything this 4th of July be   red white and blue…even the drinks? This easy recipe not only looks super cool but it’s totally kid friendly.  The glass milk bottles and party picks really take this layered drink to the next level...but really any clear glass and straw will do. And you just know, if you make these special drinks this year, they are sure to be the hit of the party.

These Firecracker Cakes are amazing! And believe it when we tell you, yes…they are filled with Pop Rocks. There aren’t too many ingredients involved and 1 recipe makes about 14 cakes, but a dessert this amazing takes time, so be prepared for a lot of steps. But come on…how can you not have these mini, exploding firecracker cakes at your party?

Now get out there and Celebrate!
